FAQ

Do I have to stop using Yoast?

No. With another SEO plugin active, Power Up WP stays out of your head section entirely and writes into its fields instead. Standalone mode only activates when no other SEO plugin is running — there is never duplicate output.

What exactly does the migration import?

SEO titles, meta descriptions, focus keywords, noindex flags, canonical URLs, and 301 redirects (from Rank Math or Yoast Premium). Existing Power Up WP values are never overwritten, and nothing is removed from the old plugin.

Does it handle sitemaps?

Yes — a full XML sitemap at /sitemap.xml with images and last-modified dates, replacing the bare WordPress core sitemap. Video and News sitemaps are available separately on the Site Crawl Health page.
